Poplar Scientists! - Science

This afternoon Poplar class have been solving crime! Mr Ross' Pringles tube had been completely eaten, and the class had to use the fingerprints to find out who the guilty suspect was! They learnt different techniques of how to collect fingerprints as well as learning about what type of fingerprint they had! It turned out that the guilty suspect was Mrs Strookman!

Poplar's trip to the Ancient Technology Centre

Poplar class had a fantastic visit to the Ancient Technology Centre in Cranborne! They learnt all sorts of different things about how the Vikings lived their lives. The children learnt how to cut wood, make tiles and weed gardens as well as how to make a viking feast! All children were a credit to the school and I hope they have all caught up on their sleep!
