The Planets! - Science

This afternoon year 5 were looking at the distances of planets from the sun. We started out by ordering ourselves as planets and how far apart we thought we should be. We then moved to the field and found out the relative distances. Who knew Neptune was 4.95 billion kilometres away from the sun?!

Year 5 Summer Task

Over the holiday we would like the children to research World War 2. Their research could take the form of a poster or a piece of art work, as we would love this to create our first display in September.
