Accidental Discoveries in Science

We found out today that some materials have been accidentally made while scientists were trying to do something else. For example, Silly putty was actually scientists trying to make a substitute for a natural material - rubber! 

Here is our go at making a new material using Gaviscon, orange Juice and a saturated salt solution.
