Anti-Racism Ribbons - PSHCE

In PSHE, year 5 have been creating their own Anti-Racism ribbons, here are some examples!

The spelling list for Poplar to learn by next Monday (21st) are:

Please make sure children are practising these spellings, as well as those in the half termly spelling list which can be found in the back of reading diaries under "Spring 1". Our half termly test will take place in the last week of this half term.

Items from Ghana! - Geography

Last week, Year 5 were lucky enough to get to see some real life Ghanaian items. They had been sent from Ghana following on from our letters that we received from the school we wrote to. The children really enjoyed looking at the items, and were especially interested in the Cocoa beans that are used to make chocolate!
